The Decree draft has been published today on the draft regulations website. The amendment is supposed to be introduced into Regulations on Federal Security Service of Russia dated 2003.
Land plots withdrawal for state needs will be possible in exceptional circumstances connected with Russian international treaties fulfillment, construction and reconstruction of objects of state and local importance and other legitimate grounds.
Federal Security Service of Russia needs the powers to fulfill the assigned duties.
Formerly the Federal Protection Service of Russia (FSO) asked to confer it the same powers.
