“Rodchenkov’s property is already arrested in Russia”, the agency’s source told Interfax, however, it wasn’t specified, which exact item of property the matter concerns.
According to the source, in August, the law enforcement officers had conducted a number of searches and seizures within the framework of the case initiated against Gregory Rodchenkov.
The Basmanny District Court of Moscow confirmed the fact of arrest of the property belonging to the ex-head of the anti-doping laboratory.
As a reference, earlier in May, The New York Times published an article, in which Rodchenkov claimed that no less than 15 Russian sportsmen awarded gold medals in Sochi were participants of a Russian “doping program”.
