“Commercial negotiations on conditions of the Russian gas supplies to Turkey will proceed. The parties also discussed the main issues of regional cooperation in the energy sector,” as it is stated in Gazprom’s message.
Gazprom indicates that the gas pipeline will pass along the old 660 km corridor of the “South Stream” and 250 km in a new corridor in direction to the European part of Turkey. It’s supposed that gas supplies delivered through the first string of the pipeline will be fully intended for the Turkish market.
