According to him, the project’s implementation will require $10 bln of investments. “Taking into account the country’s needs and national interests, a special credit program is provided for development of atomic energy in the near 10 years,” said Ali Akbar Salehi.
“The contract concluded with Russia stipulates the use of technical capacities, which possesses the Iranian industry,” stressed Salehi. He added that these two power units would let Iran save 22m barrels of oil annually.
Early last month, Energy Minister of Russia, Alexander Novak, said that Iran confirmed the participation of Rosatom State Energy Corporation in the construction project of Bushehr NPP.
