Within the framework of renovation, 1,1 m square meters of housing for 42,000 residents will be built on this territory. Apart from that, this initiative will create 30,000 new jobs.
The project envisages schools, nursery schools, health centers, as well as offices, administration buildings, trade and recreation facilities to be located in new residential compounds. In particular, two sports and fitness centers, facilities for tennis, football, ice and water sports, as well as hotels and apartments for guests of World Cup 2018 are planned to be constructed on the territory of the former airfield.
