The parties are going to carry out a joint techno-economic justification for the project of the construction of an advanced regional hospital, the press office of the government of the Kamchatka region announced on Monday.
“Over the course of many years, the Republic of Korea has been one of the main trade and economic partners of the Kamchatka region. This is due to our geographic proximity, mutual economic interests and partner relations,” said the regional governor, Vladimir Ilyukhin, during the signing ceremony.
Negotiations lasted 10 years. In August, delegates from the Institute of Health Industry Development of the Republic of Korea visited the Kamchatka region, as a result, the parties agreed that there was need for cooperation.
At present, the hospital is being built from the budgetary funds, over 200 m roubles have been allocated for this purpose in 2016. The whole project is estimated at 11 bln roubles.
