The works at the construction site of the object, as well as its equipment are estimated at 500 million roubles. This is the third such object in the region with the capacity of 5 MW, which was erected by Hevel company, a joint enterprise of JSC Renova and JSC Rosnano.
Over 60% of components of a new solar power plant were produced in Russia. The facility will allow to reduce carbon dioxide emission into the atmosphere by 4,500 tons per year.
In the near future, five more of such power plants are scheduled to be built in the Republic of Altai.
