The Krasnodar region, which is also referred to as “Kuban”, experiences power shortages, that is why creation of additional capacities, including renewable energy sources, is a trending direction for the development of modern power generation. Kuban’s climate and geographical features allows to take advantage of the wind force as a source of electrical power.
“The project stipulates installation of eight wind power stations on the territory of the Krasnodar region. Investments into the facilities’ construction will amount to over 60 bln roubles,” says the statement released by the regional administration.
