Mr Mingguang specified that 30 reactors are scheduled to be constructed in the next five years. He added that three major nuclear companies of China, SNPTC, CNNC and CGN, will be engaged in construction work. Each of them is expected to build at least two new reactors annually. The new plants will include between six and 10 CAP1000 reactors.
As it became known, CNNC is to start building two new reactors at Sanmen in Zhejiang Province, SNPTC will build reactors at Haiyang in Shandong province and CGN will construct two objects at Lufeng in Guandong province.
