At the moment of submitting an application, The Highway Construction Corporation consisted of DSK “Avtoban” and Spanish Sacyr Concession. However, according to Interfax sources, since the 18th of July, DSK “Avtoban” holds a 100% stake in The Highway Construction Corporation. Spanish office of Sacyr declined to comment the information to Vedomosti newspaper.
According to director general of The Highway Construction Corporation, Denis Anisimov, the Spanish company has pulled out of the deal due to the sanctions and currency risks.
The four-lane 3rd section of the Central Ring Road with the length of 105,3 km will pass along A107 and will connect M11 Moscow – Saint Petersburg toll motorway and “Volga” M7 highway. The Central Ring Road, which is partly financed from National Welfare Fund, is scheduled to be completed in 2018.
