IKEA intends to launch online sales in Moscow region

The company has been testing sales via Internet in Russia over the course of several years. The first online-hypermarket began operating in Omsk in 2013. Then, it was introduced in two dozens of cities, such as Nizhnevartovsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Tyumen and others.

At the beginning of 2015, IKEA announced that it launched online sales of goods for other big cities of Siberia and Russian Far East. After that, the retailer started to deal with online orders on the European part of Russia and in the city of Yekaterinburg.
