According to Olga Dyachyuk, the Environment and Ecology Ministry of the Tula region conducted an inspection on the subject of compliance with the forest legislation’s requirements on the given territory. As a result, a squatter settlement on the land of forest reserves has been revealed.
Following the results of inspection, the Environment and Ecology Ministry filed a claim to the court over illegal seizure of land with a total area of 2,8 hectares. The Tula authorities demand that the settlement should be demolished and the land should be cleared.
