Vietnam refused to have TPP constructed by Russian “Inter RAO”

As the local press reports referring to the official governmental informational website, the reason for such a decision is that the Russian partner failed to prepare the project cost-benefit analysis on time.

To remind you, the Russian-Vietnamese agreement on the construction of the “Quang Trach-2” TPP for $2.4 bln was signed last February. The work on the construction site was to be fulfilled the Eastern energy company affiliated with “Inter RAO”. 

Now the project will be implemented by the “Vietnam energy systems” state holding (EVN).
