Chinese to build new deep-water port in Archangelsk

The regional press office has told Construction.RU about it today. They stressed, that it is the largest investment project in the region. It is connected with the “Belkomur”railway main construction project (the White Sea – Komi - Ural)from Archangelsk via Syktyvkar to Perm (Solikamsk).

Due to the reduction of the railway delivery arm to 800 km and reloading in the new Archangelsk deep-water port the cargo logistics from the Urals and Siberia will be optimized significantly.
