According to the company, this sum of money was spent up by the 30th of September, however that could be revised.

The shoreline cleanup works were completed at the beginning of October with 210,000 litres being recovered.

Following the spill, which affected an area of about 41,500 square meters, the cities of North Battleford, Prince Albert and Melfort stopped taking water from the North Saskatchewan River and had to use alternative water sources over the course of that period.
