“In recognition of great services of President Vladimir Putin in judo development, the Palace was named after him,” noted Ramzan Kadyrov. The head of the Republic addressed the sportsmen present at the ceremony, wishing them to become champions at 2020 Olympic Games.
“It's necessary to work hard and to train a lot, then one won’t have to look for pretext for the failure. Those deserving always win,” said Kadyrov.
The facility is capable to host several thousand of spectators and will have training rooms, as well as a hotel for one hundred beds.
