Initial price of the object, which is under the jurisdiction of Czech Post Service, is estimated at approximately 15,5 million euro. The Post Service put the convent on auction after a number of failed attempts to make use of the facility.
Experts offer to a new owner to convert the building into a hotel.
Prague convent of Our Lady Day is a protected historical monument and requires reconstruction. The Post Service acquired the object in 1919. At present, the convent’s territory is closed to the public, except for a church operating there.
