Moscow chief architect Sergey Kuznetsov, representative of Mosinzhstroy company Mikhail Grachevsky and the head of the contest’s organizing committee Sergey Georgievsky took part in a press conference held on this occasion.
As spokespersons pointed out, the contest was declared international in order to improve competitiveness and international image of Moscow. The applications could be submitted until the 15th of December.
International jury chaired by Marat Khusnullin, will announced the contest winners by the 4th of April 2017. Assembly work at these metro stations will start in the middle of the next year. All three stations will be converted in interchange ones and will be located in the new third interchange circuit of Moscow.
