As it became known, major Chinese corporation is interested in construction of the investment object. Primorye-1 and Primorye-2 transport corridors, intended for cargo delivery from north-eastern provinces of China to southern ports of Primorsky region of Russia, arouse strong interest among Chinese investors.
At present, Russian and Chinese governments are negotiating these projects. Currently, both corridors are operating, there is cargo and people movement through them. In prospect, construction of an advanced road infrastructure is scheduled there. Upgrading of Primorye-1 Transport Corridor is underway and involves building a four-lane road. The construction woks will be funded both from regional and federal budgets.
