The company doesn’t agree with the court ruling and intends to protect its exclusive rights for Knauf trademark, the company’s press office told Construction.RU.
The claim included demand to ban the respondent party from using signs confusingly similar to its three trademarks, as well as to destroy counterfeit gypsum plasterboards containing contested brands.
As a compensation for damage, Knauf demanded 2,3 billion rubles from Perm Gipsopolimer JSC, 1,5 billion rubles from “Prikamsk Gypsum Company” trading house LLC and 815 million rubles from Prikamsk Gypsum Company LLC.
Now, the company’s lawyers set to elaborate a strategy for its interests’ protection and are going to appeal the court ruling in superior authorities.
