“From the very beginning, we follow closely the progress of implementation of this crucial for Crimea project. The Turkish party supported and will go on rendering assistance, since this mosque might become a symbol of good-neighborly relations both between the Crimean people and between the people of two countries,” the head of the Turkish Association of Eurasian Governments, Dzengis Hasan, said during his visit to the mosque construction site in the Crimean city of Simferopol.
According to the schedule, the mosque will be opened in 2019.
