“Our doctors save newly born infants in the most complicated situations,” said Russian President. He stresses that regional clinics are operating better now, their number increased and the medical services provided by doctors have become more qualified.
“However, there are troubles in the field of health care and there are many of them. Citizens face queues, formal treatment. Sometimes, there is modern equipment, but no qualification,” said Vladimir Putin.
President proposed to tackle this problem by requalification of doctors and releasing them from “routine work with medical certificates”.
