“The current position of the Russian party and Gazprom in particular is not to make additional changes in the contract, among other things, because the legal argument is still underway. Any changes to the contract is, say, a possibility to use the other party in judicial proceedings”, - said Alexander Novak.
“Apart from that, as you know, there are proceedings regarding the “take or pay”. The Ukrainian party filed a suit on this issue to Stockholm arbitration as far back as 2014,” he added.
