Europe’s highest skating rink opens in Moscow City in December

The skating rink will be located at the height of 354 meters, said the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin.

“On the 15th of December, the highest ice rink in Europe will be put in operation on the roof of the Moscow City. It will be at the height of 354 meters at a level of the 86th floor,” the Mayor tweeted in his account.

Earlier, a deputy general manager of “354” catering enterprises, Gleb Marach, said that the ice rink would be opened on the roof of the “Eye” tower.

The Moscow City International Business Center is a commercial district in central capital city of Russia, on the Presnenskaya embankment of the Moscow River approximately 4 kilometers west of Red Square.
