According to the plan, this South Korea’s administrative capital is intended to be converted into a “global culture city” with world-significant museum quarter.
The site for reconstruction occupies an area of 190,000 square meters. The project developed by Office OU envisages combination of the diverse landscape including rice paddies, wetlands, forests and riverbanks with Korea’s Joeseon Dynasty palace architecture. The space will host a dozen museums, among which there will be the museums dedicated to architecture, digital heritage, children and natural history.
