Central Asia’s largest bridge across Irtysh River emerges in Kazakhstan

According to the local media, the bridge has an arched design and is built in accordance with the advanced technologies with the use of inclined flexible guy lines. Its central arch was installed with the help of Swiss HeavyLifting hydraulic system of ropes and levers.

The total length of the four-lane bridge is 12.3 kilometers. Over 13,500 tones of steel structures have been delivered and assembled at the construction site, where 1,800 builders and 700 pieces of equipment were engaged in the activities.

The bridge construction was commissioned by JSC NK KazAvtoZhol, the works were carried out by Kazakhdorstroy LLP.
