Design of the pipe and the space in Akmerkez shopping center has been developed by a local bureau GAD Architecture. Now, for the most daring visitors it will take less than a minute to descend from the top floor to the first floor.
“Instead of changing the space of the mall dramatically by means of decor, we tried to make it changing and updating itself, having become a moving, surprising an animate body”, the team of GAD Architecture told the newspaper.
