“Three quarters of the established pillars are the pillars of the road part of the structure. Builders have a possibility to plan the beginning of the roadway’s asphalting for the second half of 2017,” — the press release reads.
According to the information center, navigation arches, which will be mounted over those Kerch Strait sections that are free for the passage of vessels, are 40% completed.
Earlier, the project’s commissioner, Taman Road Directorate, announced that in 2017, all pillars of the bridge’s road part are scheduled to be erected and 40% of it railway part are planned to be completed.
