George Lucas builds $1.5 billion Star Wars museum in Los Angeles

The facility is planned to be located in the Exposition Park, which is one of the Los Angeles key cultural centers. There will be personal art collection of Lucas, what includes works from Normal Rockwell and “Star Wars” memorabilia.

According to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, the museum will provide “unrivaled opportunities to be immersed in stories told on canvas and celluloid.”

We should remind you that “Star Wars” film became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon and was followed by a number of sequels.
