This action led to traffic delays in downtown, the Washington Post reports on Wednesday. Around 8 a.m., seven protesters took over a crane at a construction site situated at 15th and L streets NW.
Nobody was arrested, firefighters and an elite rescue unit arrived at the scene, but they didn’t take any immediate action.
Because of the incident, the construction activities have been ceased at the site.
According to Fox 5, the protesters tried to unfurl a banner reading “Resist,” which could be seen by Trump from his new home.
