The machinery will be mostly intended for Russian market. The joint enterprise is scheduled to be created in the coming weeks in Mogilev, a city in eastern Belarus siatuated 76 kilometres from the border with Russia's Smolensk region.
In particular, the Belarussian-Chinese association will be engaged in assembly of truck-mounted cranes, truck-mounted concrete pumps and other equipment.
MAZ and Zoomlion plan to assemble 100 items of machinery in 2017 and over 900 special-purpose vehicles over the course of five years. Apart from Russia, the products will be supplied to Ukraine and Kazakhstan, as well as to Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria.
