“At present, the activities at three towers in the western part of the fortress are underway. Apart from that, at present, roofing at a cupola of Cathedral with arcade is being replaced,” said the representative of the reserve museum.
Construction trestle established near the fortress walls and towers are treated with fire-proof composition, in order to prevent potential inflammation of wooden structures.
These are the first planned restoration activities carried out since 1991.
