Homelessness campaigners take over London mansion of Russian oligarch

The campaigners will establish there a camp serving as a homeless shelter. Above the front door, the activists hung out a banner reading “USA Anti-Government In Exile”.

The mansion estimated at £15million was acquired by Andrey Goncharenko in London’s exclusive area of Belgravia in 2014.

The Daily Mail indicated that the house had been empty for a long time. According to the newspaper, Goncharenko is considered to be an “obscure figure” and the source of his wealth is unclear.
