Rosatom agrees on supplies from its future mining processing plant in Arctic

Mr. Semyonov specified that the existing preliminary agreements, as well as signed contracts, covered the whole volume of planned products.

The plant will develop the lead-zinc silver-containing Pavlovskoye deposit located on Novaya Zemlya archipelago, in the Arctic region.

The facility, which will be built by ARMZ, is expected to become the northermost and largest mining processing plant in Arctic. Its design capacity amounts to about 220,000 tons of zinc concentrate and 50,000 tons of the lead concentrate annually, as well as 16 tons of silver per year.
