Deputy Mayor of Moscow on urban development policy and construction, Marat Khusnullin, spoke about it at the meeting with journalists. According to him, the reasons for the deficit are western sanctions and the rouble volatility.
“We are lacking 3,000 project designers and 10,000 workers, presently”, Khusnullin admitted. That is why Moscow authorities addressed Chinese companies. In particular, in October, 2016 a contract on designing the southern section of the Third metro ring was signed with the China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC). Among the priority tasks for 2017 is the complete construction on the Third interchange circuit”, Deputy Mayor added.
