Pakistan-Russia negotiations on “North - South” gas pipeline proceed successfully

According to him, Russian Minister of Energy, Alexander Novak visited Islamabad and discussed there the details regarding the project of the $2 bln billion North-South pipeline that will pump imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Karachi and Gwadar in the south of Pakistan to Lahore in the north. He pointed out that it is the first major Russian investment in Pakistan after decades, the negotiations on the projects are proceeding successfully, he added.

To remind you, the 1,100 km long “North-South” pipe-line will have the capacity of 12.4 bln cubic m a year.
