Russia sets to spend $215m on innovations in 2017

The head of the government held a session of Presidium of the Presidential Council for Economy Modernization and Innovation Development of Russia. As a reference, Russia has become actively involved with innovations since the year 2009.

Dmitry Medvedev noted that it was important that the subject of innovations is not exotic in the country any more, and it has become popular.

Out of 37 launched projects, about three quarter have been successfully implemented. According to the Prime Minister, 8,5 billion rubles ($215 million) will be allocated to support innovation projects in 2017.
