“We announced a tender to determine a contactor for the project’s engineering, the world’s leading companies are invited to participate in it. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2020.” Sergey Marchenkov said following a session of the intergovernmental commission of Russian and Uzbekistan held in Tashkent.
The project price has not been revealed yet.
According to Marchenkov, construction of a plant producing cement with a capacity of 2,4 million tons per year is implemented within the framework of a large-scale modernization of enterprises owned by Eurocement Group.
