Yakovlev explained that at the end of the last year, 870 hotels with 58,000 rooms have been qualified in Moscow.
There are 27 five-star facilities, 74 four-star and 180 three-star ones, as well as 447 non-star hotels for budget-oriented tourists. This allows Moscow to compete with any other city in the world.
Hotel occupancy in 2016 amounted to an average of 70%.
