“We have received a confirmation that Iran is interested to purchase 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircrafts in the near future”, - he said.
The Minister also noted that Russia is interested in establishing production of components for Russian aircrafts in Iran, and, in case of the corresponding proposal, it is ready to consider such a possibility.
In addition, according to him, Russia offered its Iranian partners to establish a joint production of an upgraded turboprop aircraft Il-114.
“Our companies are now working with our Iranian partners in order to elaborate specific solutions and proposals,” – Alexander Novak added.
