“A special investment contract for the creation and development of industrial production of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Yesipovo industrial park was signed between the Russian Federation, JSC Mercedes-Benz RUS, the government of the Moscow region, Peshkovskoye municipal rural settlement, as well as the following contractors: Daimler AG, KAMAZ, Daimler KAMAZ RUS and Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Rus LLC”, - the source in the Ministry noted.
The contract provides for the creation of a full cycle production for passenger cars and the premium segment off-road vehicles, including the localization of such technological operations as welding, painting, assembly of vehicles, as well as the implementation of logistics operations.
According to the contract, the investor ensures 15 billion rubles of investment in the project.
