Earlier it was reported that, by the end of 2017, IKEA was planning to open a store with an area of about 44 thousand square metres and a parking lot for 1.7 million cars in Novousmansky district of the city.
Opening of the shop should be the first stage of the company development in the region. As the second stage, the IKEA is considering the construction of MEGA shopping center in Voronezh or in its neighbourhood.
