As Construction.RU was told by the press office of Krymsky Most, according to archaeologists, the mysterious discovery is most likely a part of the sculpture of an ancient Greek god. However, the uniqueness of this artifact is that previously it analogs have never been found in the Northern Black Sea area.
Earlier, scientists have only come across figurines with a maximum height of 40 cm, with a thickness of up to 1 cm. Presumably, the massive head was made in Asia Minor in the fifth century BC.
