Russia opens unique $2m waste recycling plant above Arctic Circle

As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the region’s Governor, during the launch, operation of the plant for deep processing of secondary polymers has been demonstrated to the guests.

Thus, construction of the waste recycling plant cost investors 119 million roubles, that is $2 million.

The unique enterprise represents a line for processing of secondary polymers with the capacity of 700 kg per hour or 320 tons per month.

Sorted polymer waste, such as films for household packaging, plastic bags, disposable tableware, industrial packaging, plastic containers etc, are used as raw material at the enterprise. Waste is transported from waste Tarko-Sale sorting complex, and in the future, it will be supplied from specialized companies in the city of Noyabrsk, as well as from fuel and energy enterprises.
