Belarus refuses to acknowledge its debt for gas to Russia

Oil and gas dispute between the two countries has been lasting from the beginning of 2016. Then, the Belarusian government said about an unfairness of the prices on the blue fuel and unilaterally started paying for it at a lower price.

In its turn, Moscow reduced duty-free oil supplies to its western neighbor, having connected it with underpayment for gas and short supply of petroleum products to Russia.

Yesterday, the oil and gas dispute between Russia and Belarus was discussed by the Prime Ministers of two countries, Dmitry Medvedev and Andrei Kobyakov.
