The next stage of extension of the pedestrian zone will begin when the third phase of bank protection starts.
In the area from Volskaya Street and up to the 2nd Sadovaya Street a new city beach with a length of over 800 meters will be located. Its construction will be launched in late summer after design and survey works will be carried out.
Earlier, the authorities planned to place the beach on the other site, and then abandoned the idea after a hydrological survey of the river’s bottom was conducted.
