At the Media Forum arranged by the Russian People’s Front, the reporter from Buryatia appealed to the head of state with a request to contribute to the development of hockey in the Republic and, finally, to resolve the issue with the construction of an Ice Palace. According to her, this issue has remained unresolved for seven years, although the construction site of the stadium has already been selected.
The President reminded that his first sport was judo and invited the reporter to engage in that kind of sport. After that, Vladimir Putin promises to render his assistance to resolve the matter.
He did not disclose a source of funding, saying only: “We will build such a skating rink”.
