Today, the company has already built a test site in the desert of Nevada to show what it hopes is the future of intercity transportation around the world.
This week Hyperloop One has added the finishing touches to his 500-meter test pipeline in North Las Vegas.
Capsules with passengers and cargo inside the pipeline will be moved up in the air under the action of magnetic field and due to electric propulsion to accelerate to speeds close to that of commercial airliners.
By the end of the year, the company plans to put together a team of 500 engineers, designers, scientists and other professionals working on the technology development.
