Cannabis plantation of 100,000 plants to be established in California

Construction of greenhouses in the territory of the plantation is scheduled to be completed next year. The area of the plantation will amount to about 19 hectares. The Californian facility will grow, in particular, medical marijuana.

Steve DeAngelo, a co-founder of the health center in Harborside specializing in medical marijuana, told the New York Times that after that plantation is put in operation, California would be able to take half of the national market.

DeAngelo and his partners acquired the land with greenhouses in March of 2015 for $3.5 million. At the time of purchase the greenhouses required a considerable reconstruction. However, at the time the transaction was closed, the price for similar sites surged more than twofold.
