The partner is Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ). The construction of the enterprise, which is planned to be located in the industrial park near the Belarusian capital of Minsk, will cost $45 million. The first products will roll off the production line in 2019. The car is planned to be produced by SKD method: Chinese detachable equipment will be mounted on Belarusian chassis. Subsequently, the depth of localization is expected to grow.
The Belarusian-Chinese tandem plans, primarily, to develop a line of truck-mounted cranes, municipal and road-building equipment. Emergency vehicles will be supplied to Russia, Ukraine and in Europe.
